For the month April I am posting about Rome from its humble beginning to its mighty empire. According to legend, on or around April 21, 753 B.C., Romulus and his twin brother, Remus, found Rome on the site where they were suckled by a she-wolf as orphaned infants. From here she went from city-state, kingdom, republic to glorious empire and tragic fall.
