Sage of the Ancient World

School officially start today. One of the mythology greatest teacher is Chiron

Chiron
Trainer of Heroes
Father of the Healing Arts

Chiron is last son of Kronos, who was in the form of a horse at the time. He was born from Kronos and the nymph Philyra. He was half-horse because Kronos was half-horse when he was with Philyra. His mother, Philyra abandoned him at birth because of her disgust at his appearance. Later the sun Titan, Helios, and his family took care of the child and taught him all his skills. Chiron is not a true centaur, as centaurs are notorious for being overly indulgent drinkers and carousers, given to violence when intoxicated, wild, lusty, and generally uncultured delinquents. Chiron, by contrast, is intelligent, civilized, and kind. Also, true centaurs are born of sun and cloud (Ixion and Nephele), and are not immortal. However, Chiron gained his immortality from the Olympians as a reward for side with them in the Titan War.
Throughout the Greek age, Chiron is known for his exceptional wisdom and also known as the teacher of heroes. He had the gift of guiding his pupils to uncovering their highest potential and discovering their destiny. His student includes Asclepius, Aristaeus, Ajax, Aeneas, Actaeon, Caeneus, Theseus, Achilles, Jason, Peleus, Telamon, Heracles, Oileus, Phoenix, and many other demigods.
One day when Hercules, one of his pupils, was visiting Chiron after the second labor: Kill the Hydra.  They were examining one of his new arrows. Hercules’s arrows now possessed a extremely powerful and lethal venom of the Hydra. One of them fell on Chiron's thigh, inflicting an agonizing wound. The wound was so painful that Chiron wanted to die, but, being immortal, he couldn't.
After Hercules released Prometheus, whom Zeus had imprisoned for giving the gift of fire to man, Chiron willingly gave up his life and consented to die in Prometheus' place. The friendly centaur Chiron had renounced immortality. In recognition of these monumental accomplishments, Chiron was immortalized after his death and accorded a place amongst the stars, in the constellation Centaurus or Sagittarius.
The gods resurrected Chiron to continued to train and educate future demigods and legacies to be heroes. They give Chiron immortality (again) and the status of a nature deity. The gods: Athena, Hephaestus, Hermes, and Apollo create realm to protect the demigods from the evils in worlds and to provide a safe haven for them to be train and grow up be strong heroes and leaders. The realm follow the center of Western Civilization just like the gods.
Chiron embodies the spirit of compassion and selfless service that all philosophers and healers must have to master and practice the art of learning and medicine. Through his supreme sacrifice, willingly given, Chiron gave mankind the art of healing and knowledge.
